    Photographs by White taken at the Bohemian Grove, a campground in the California Redwoods for the private San Francisco–based men's club known as the Bohemian Club. Images include the camp, men socializing, the Grove Play, and other activities. There are several portraits, but they are not identified. Also includes about 20 photographic postcards of the camp and a 1916 postcard from White to his wife.

    The collection consists of 298 photographs, 1878-1951 (bulk 1890-1915), collected by Orrin Peck, portraitist and landscape painter, and his sister Janet. Primarily portraits, the photographs depict friends and acquaintances (both identified and unidentified) of Orrin and Janet Peck, with particular emphasis on Phoebe Apperson Hearst and William Randolph Hearst. Also included are California scenes, including numerous views of San Francisco; unidentified residential exteriors and interiors; views of Mrs. Hearst's home, La Hacienda del Pozo de Verona in Alameda County, California; and views of William Randolph Hearst's castle "Wyntoon" (designed by architect Julia Morgan) near Mount Shasta, California.     A group portrait of 11 prominent literary figures gathered under the redwoods at the Bohemian Grove on August 7, 1915, by photographer Gabriel Moulin. The Bohemian Grove was a gathering place for members of the elite Bohemian Club of San Francisco in the woods of Sonoma County, California. The individuals pictured are Harry Leon Wilson, Frank Pixley, Jack London, Edwin Markham, George Ade, Charles K. Field, Gilbert H. Grosvenor, Richard Walton Tully, George Sterling, Ernest C. Peixotto and Rufus Steele.
