A most true relation of divers notable passages of divine providence in the great deliverance and wonderfull victory obtained by the Parliaments forces under the command of the Earle of Stamford, : in the county of Devon, against the army of cavaliers, raised by Sir Ralph Hopton and his adherents, rebels and traitours, Cornish-men, and others: upon Tuesday the 25. of April. 1643. Attested by the commanders, and divers gentlemen of quality, and godly ministers, that were present, and eye witnesses, who sent this information, as it is, to the Parliament. ... May 1.
