The first navigational guide to the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, with Lewis and Clark material appended. This volume helped to develop the commerce of the early United States, containing woodcut maps of the length of the aforementioned rivers as well as an early plan of Pittsburgh. This later edition of an account of Louisiana and the Missouri and Columbia rivers as discovered by Lewis and Clark. The Lewis and Clark material (pages 290-295) is derived from Patrick Gass's journal, which was also printed by Cramer in Pittsburgh.
