The three bound volumes consist of two medical account books kept by Joseph Badger Parsons and one ledger book kept by William Moody Parsons. All relate to their practice in Bennington, New Hampshire. They detail patients and maladies, primarily related to urological concerns. The account books contain names of patients, the cost of their procedures, and brief notes on the reason for the office visit or procedure performed.The box contains 8 pieces of correspondence, 1 manuscript note, 5 lists, 19 receipts and bills, and 11 pieces of accounting calculations. All these pieces were removed from the bound volumes
