Title page includes portraits of Avicenna and Arnaldus de Villanova. Includes 150 woodcut illustrations of plants. Chancery quarto, with paper measuring 19.8 x 14.1 cm; 33 lines; area of text: 14.4 x 8.9 cm. With woodcut initials; woodcut border on leaf pi2; initial spaces with guide-letters from leaf u2 until the end; paragraph marks and headlines; without catchwords. Signatures: pi⁴ a-x⁸ (pi1, t8 blank). Binding: green morocco; binder's stamp: Bound by Lloyd.
