"The basic theme is a comparison of the strategies of two recognized masters of the art of guerrilla warfare. Using as principal sources the writings of Mao Tse-tung and T.E. Lawrence, a study is conducted of the similarities of their strategies. It is noted that within similar time frames of age and experience and dissimilar parameters of environment, resources and personal ambitions, closely identical strategies for the achievement of separate goals were produced."--Author's abstract.
