Microfilm of the diary of Benjamin Chamberlain Critchlow, covering 1886-1887. In brief entries, Critchlow describes his daily activities and travels, including to Cache, Ogden, St. George, Millville, Pleasant View, and Logan. Also included is an autobiography by Critchlow that describes his family history, move to Nauvoo in 1844, mob violence against Mormons in 1845, his overland travels to Utah in 1851, and various experiences in Utah.

The collection of 42 items is chiefly letters from Disraeli to his sister and confidante, Sarah Disraeli. The letters deal with the full range of Disraeli's political, literary, personal, and social affairs, including reactions to newspaper attacks on him or on his books, London society gossip, Parliamentary actions, political parties and politicians, etc. Also included is printed ephemera related to Disraeli, including photographs of Hughenden, Buckinghamshire, newspapers clippings, engravings, pamphlets (some critical of his career), and articles.
