In his extensive research notes, maps, and graphs there is a large body of data about American history. Collection contains: letters, documents, maps, photographs, lantern slides, research notes, lecture notes, manuscripts of speeches, essays, books, and clippings. The collection also contains 15 boxes of correspondence between Turner and Alice Forbes Perkins Hooper.
