This issue of The book collector's ephemeron is focused on Sir Richard F. Burton, explorer, anthropologist, and translator. Edwards H. Metcalf (Henry E. Huntington's grandson) collected numerous volumes, articles, and other materials related to Burton, and wrote an article for the issue, titled "Edwards H. Metcalf Presents 'In the footsteps of a giant: a discourse on his collection of Sir Richard Francis Burton.'"
