Provenance: Occasional manuscript notes by a late-16th/early-17th century hand, possibly Italian, noting the abbreviated forms of the characters' names next to their lines in the text and adding metrical annotations. Pembroke collection shelfmark "Kd.13" in red ink on the front flyleaf. Acquired by George D. Smith in 1914 at the Pembroke auction (London, Sotheby's, lot. 179).
