Camellias

Acknowledged by the International Camellia Society as a Garden of Excellence, The Huntington’s botanical collections include more than 50 different camellia species and some 1,200 cultivated varieties. Most are at the peak of their bloom in January and February, putting on a dazzling display in the North Vista, Japanese Garden, and The Huntington’s Chinese Garden, Liu Fang Yuan 流芳園, the Garden of Flowing Fragrance. The camellias on this page are primarily cultivar introductions from The Huntington plus a few important and emerging hybrid parents.
