David Mihaly curates the Library's collections of historical prints, posters, and ephemera. He received his M.A. from the Cooperstown Graduate Program in history museum studies. An award-winning exhibit designer, Mihaly co-owned a museum consulting firm and has curated more than 25 exhibitions including two at The Huntington: "The Color Explosion: Nineteenth-Century American Lithography" and "Your Country Calls: Posters of the First World War." He has published on American print culture ranging from product advertising and commercial lithographers to psychedelic rock posters. A recent board member of The Ephemera Society of America, Mihaly currently serves on its fundraising, legacy, and membership committees.
