Rose Garden Tea Room

The Rose Garden Tea Room continues its elegant tea service with a curated selection of teas, seasonal house‑made scones, and a thoughtful assortment of savory and sweet offerings.

Highlights may include smoked salmon with dill cream cheese and caviar, strawberry rhubarb tart, and Caramel Miso Madeleine. Guests may also choose to enhance the experience with Champagne, alongside refined selections such as a poached Maine lobster roll finished with Hawaiian black sea salt and micro celery.

Vegan, gluten‑free, and children’s menus are available, as well as Champagne, wine, and cocktails by the glass.

Huntington Admission Required

Visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation.

Tea Room Reservations

For parties up to 6 guests

Reservations may be made online through OpenTable.

Online reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance.
Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each OpenTable reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.
There is a 10-minute grace period for reservations. After 10 minutes your reservation will be released to waiting walk-ins.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis but are not guaranteed. Please note we are unable to accommodate late parties at our last seating.

To book The Herb Room and the Shakespeare Room:

These rooms can be booked in 2.5-hour time increments during regular business hours.

To book the Rose Garden Tea Room:

Reservations can be booked during non-business hours between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and all day on Tuesday when we are closed to the public.

High Tea Service Experience

All guests in a party are required to purchase the High Tea Service. The Rose Garden Tea Room does not offer à la carte dining. High Tea Service is offered at a preset, per‑guest price and includes a curated selection of savories, scones, and sweets.

Seating Preferences

We are unable to guarantee indoor or outdoor seating or a specific dining room. Our hosts are happy to note seating preferences and will do their best to accommodate requests when possible. Guests may be seated in any of our Tea Room spaces, offering the opportunity to enjoy the unique character and views of each room.
