Evening for Educators: From Plant to Page (Grades K-5)

In this after-hours workshop, participants will learn about Indigenous knowledge of plants and pigment processing, make their own accordion book to take back to the classroom, and spend time exploring Sandy Rodriguez’s “Book 13,” her largest installation to date. The work includes a 20-foot-wide map of the United States, plant portraits, a book, and a landscape painting, all created on hand-processed amate-fiber paper.

This workshop is also being offered on April 16 for educators, grades 6-12
