Huntington Volunteers Curate Spotify Playlists
Gene, Japanese Garden high school volunteer
Members of The Huntington’s 1,200+ volunteers corp, high school volunteers Gene (pictured), Abeni, Carolyn, and Katherine created specially curated Spotify music playlists to commemorate #NationalVolunteerWeek.
Gene says, “Growing up as a Japanese American, I was always pulled toward the Japanese Garden because I love Japanese heritage and culture. As a volunteer leader, I wanted to create a playlist of Japanese songs that I thought would be perfect for the atmosphere here.”
