Education and Visitor Center

A new entrance area opened in the spring of 2015. Designed to harmonize with The Huntington’s original early 20th-century Beaux-Arts architecture, it includes garden areas featuring California native plants, buildings such as the Munger Research Center (with tall columns and a classic Washington, D.C. look), and a domed Garden Court.

Among the filmable interiors here are lobbies, hallways, classrooms, a 400-seat theater, and even a long, industrial-looking tunnel!
