Enjoy an exclusive reception featuring wine, beer, light bites, music, and immersive Worlds Unfolding projections at the Astral Observatory bar in The Rose Hills Foundation Garden Court.

Explore remarkable collection highlights in Rothenberg Hall, including the newly acquired Integratron model and objects featured in Worlds Unfolding, illuminating the history of electricity, and take home a commemorative gift to remember the evening.

Otherworld: The Story of the Integratron

Meet Otherworld podcast host Jack Wagner and architectural historian Daniel Paul as they share the out-of-this-world history of the weird and wonderful Integratron, a circular structure that lives in the Mojave Desert, and the aerospace test flight inspector who built it.

Otherworld, created by Jack Wagner, is a podcast that shares true stories from people who have experienced something paranormal, supernatural, or unexplained. The mission is to foster curiosity and empathy by taking an open-minded, journalistic approach to the mysteries of our world.

Daniel Paul is an architectural historian with nearly 30 years’ experience in historic preservation. Daniel has taught college-level architectural history courses for nearly 20 years. In 2024, he became the instructor of recent past historic preservation for the National Preservation Institute.

Join Rob Manning, Chief Engineer Emeritus at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Mat Kaplan, Senior Adviser to The Planetary Society, and special guest Andre Bormanis, astronomer and television writer-producer, for a spooky journey to the outer limits of our universe.

Rob Manning is Chief Engineer Emeritus for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has been designing, testing, and operating robotic spacecraft for 40 years, including Galileo to Jupiter, Cassini to Saturn, Magellan to Venus, and many Mars missions.

Mat Kaplan is Senior Adviser to The Planetary Society, the Pasadena-based organization that empowers the world’s citizens to advance space science and exploration. Across his 20 years as host and producer of the Society’s podcast, Planetary Radio, Mat talked with well over 1,000 space scientists, astronauts, and science fiction visionaries.

Andre Bormanis is an American writer and television producer on various series, including The Orville, The End is Nye, Cosmos, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Arizona, and an M.A. in Science, Technology, and Public Policy from the George Washington University under a NASA Space Grant fellowship.
