Join literature professor and certified yoga instructor Q Ostendorf for an all-levels yoga flow class that emphasizes the connections among body, mind, and place.
Key Details
- Suitable for all levels and bodies; no previous experience necessary.
- Please wear clothes in which you can move and stretch comfortably.
- The class takes place on the tiled terrace beneath the glass dome of the Scott Gallery Loggia.
- Mats and props will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Day of Program
- Check in with Education staff at Admission window 10 at 8:00 a.m.
- Registration includes free admission to The Huntington after class.

About the Instructor
Q. Sarah Ostendorf is a professor of writing and rhetoric at Occidental College in Los Angeles, a Huntington reader, and a certified yoga instructor. Q’s yoga practice is informed by her experience teaching in the college classroom: she brings to the mat a deep understanding of the practice and philosophy of yoga, as well as decades of experience supporting students in all kinds of classrooms. Q is also one half of the team behind the adult study abroad program Well-Read Travelers.
