Off the Page: Readings "From Brontë to Butler"
“From Brontë to Butler” draws from The Huntington’s extensive literary archives to illuminate the private lives and creative processes of women writers over two centuries.
Gather on the loggia at twilight to hear from writers past and present, enjoy a live performance of songs inspired by the work of author and artist Eve Babitz, and view “From Brontë to Butler” in the gallery with exhibition curator Sarah Francis. Longtime Los Angeles Times journalist Patt Morrison, whose red hat is on view in the exhibition, will serve as master of ceremonies.
