Music and picnic season is back. Contributor-level Members and above have four opportunities to explore the gardens, picnic, and enjoy live music.

July 5 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.

Pasadena Symphony | 7–8 p.m.

Pasadena Symphony String Quintet performs a mix of classical music favorites and timeless pieces, ranging from graceful compositions to nostalgic film scores.

July 19 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.

Big Bad Jazz Band | 7–8 p.m.

Specializing in 1930s and 40s swing and contemporary dance music, this band promises an unforgettable night. Bring your dancing shoes!

August 2 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.

Inka Kings | 7–8 p.m.

With a new and fascinating fusion of music, Inka Kings combine Andean music with Caribbean, Flamenco, Classic, and Melodic rhythms. 

August 9 | 6:30–9:30 p.m.

DJ Kara | 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Dance the night away with DJ Kara as she spins a mix of deep house, funk, disco, R&B, Top 40 hits, and nostalgic 90s and 00s throwbacks.

Huntington Members at the Contributor level and above are invited to this event. Ticket benefits vary by level:

  • Contributor level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Affiliate level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Supporting level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Patron level: 2 Members (free), 2 free guests, and 2 paid guests at $35 each; 6 adults total
  • Benefactor level: 2 Members (free), 2 free guests, and 2 paid guests at $35 each; 6 adults total
  • Society of Fellows households: 2 Fellows (free), 4 free guests, and 6 paid guests at $35 each

No Guest Passes will be accepted for this event.

Members’ children (or grandchildren) 18 and under are free. Please reserve a child ticket for all children in your party.

Gardens and Shopping

Enjoy a leisurely walk in select gardens before the evening’s music begins. The Conservatory, Children’s Garden, Library, and Art Galleries will be closed these evenings.

The Huntington Store will be open until 6:30 p.m. on July 5, July 19, and Aug. 2 and until 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Food and Drink

Outside alcohol is not permitted. Members may bring their own picnics, but alcohol must be purchased on-site.
