Join Ivan Garibaldo, Desert Garden manager, for free and informal drop-in talks detailing how succulents from around the world have adapted similar survival strategies. Learn practical gardening techniques for incorporating these plants into your own garden.
Gardens
Learn the differences among aloes, agaves, euphorbias, and cacti, and take an in-depth look at some of the unique specimens currently growing in The Huntington’s Desert Garden. Discussion topics will include choosing the right kind of soil, potting, watering, and propagating, followed by an informal question-and-answer session.
The 45-minute talk and Q&A session are held at 10:30 a.m. and noon.
