Kabuki in Motion: The Lion Returns

Featuring dance-drama and live traditional music by acclaimed guest artists from Japan and the United States, the program explores an art form that flourished during the Edo period. Satoko Shimazaki of UCLA will introduce each work, culminating in Kagamijishi (The Mirror Lion), performed by Nakamura Gankyō (Kirk Kanesaka of CSUSB).
