Drop-In Talks: 11 a.m. to noon at Tiffany Sisters Hummingbird Gazebo
Learn how to attract hummingbirds to your yard or balcony by learning how to choose the best plants, place feeders, and make hummingbird nectar they’ll love, whether you’re gardening in Southern California or elsewhere in the Americas. Plus, discover how to keep the peace when territorial bullies take over. Participants will also explore cultural histories woven around hummingbirds and get all their hummingbird questions answered.
Children's Hummingbird Story Time and Discovery: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Children’s Garden
Dive into an immersive hummingbird experience with your little naturalist! Children will enjoy a hummingbird-themed story time, hold mini hummingbird feeders, and take part in a hands-on planting activity exploring hummingbirds’ role as pollinators that help plants grow.
