Join artist Rachel Curry for a hands-on workshop inspired by Betye Saar’s “Drifting Toward Twilight.”
Classes

Create your own miniature diorama inspired by Betye Saar’s site-specific installation Drifting Toward Twilight at The Huntington. Combine found objects with mixed-media art techniques to make a unique and personal artwork. Participants will explore materials and composition through assembling and embellishing dioramas.

Key details:

  • Recommended for ages 5 and up.
  • Fee includes supplies for one child and one accompanying adult, as well as admission to The Huntington.
  • All supplies and materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring small items to incorporate into the work.
