Join Ted Matson, curator of the bonsai collections at The Huntington, for an engaging and interactive children’s bonsai workshop.
Classes

This hands-on workshop is designed to introduce young nature enthusiasts to the fascinating world of bonsai, teaching them the essential techniques to prune and care for their own tree. Under the guidance of Matson, each participant will be paired with a skilled bonsai expert to guide them through the process. Participants will take home their own bonsai tree.

Recommended for children ages 7 and up. Fee includes supplies for one child and one accompanying adult, as well as admission to The Huntington.
