Direct from the UK's largest science festival, the Street Science team brings interactive science to life at The Huntington with live experiments, thrilling demonstrations, and captivating, family-friendly performances featuring chemistry, special effects, and more.
Founded 35 years ago as the world’s first public celebration of science and technology, the Edinburgh Science Festival is now the UK’s largest. This year, they’ve teamed up with Getty for the PST ART + Science Family Festival, bringing exciting interactive science to life.
About the Organization
Edinburgh Science's mission is to inspire, encourage and challenge people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and understand the world around them. As leaders in the field of Science Communication, they work year-round to create and deliver dynamic hands-on workshops and exhibitions and inspirational shows, discussions, debates and performances that continually push the boundaries of public engagement with science. The exhibition has been made possible with support from Getty through its PST ART: Art & Science Collideinitiative.
