Weaving
The Southern California Handweaver’s Guild (SCHG) provides resources to support handweavers at all levels - novice to professional. They offer monthly meetings, workshops, study groups, a lending library, and equipment. For more information go to schg.org.

Spinning + Dyeing
The Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild (GLASG) is a group of hand-spinning enthusiasts in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas and beyond. Their members incorporate a wide variety of fiber arts, including knitting, weaving, rug-making, felting, crochet, and many others. For more information, contact outreach@glasg.org.
Carola Di Poi, Huntington Gardener II, who works in the Kitchen Garden, and Ranch Garden, will showcase dyeing techniques.

Weaving
The Bobbinwinders Handweaving Guild brings together those interested in Handweaving and Fiber Arts to exchange ideas and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the techniques within the Fiber Arts Community. For more information, email bobbinwindersguild@gmail.com.

Herb Garden docents + Dyeing
The Herb Garden docents will showcase their experiments with natural pigments.
- Jamie Jamison, a member of the Southern California Handweavers' Guild (SCHG), will demonstrate dyeing techniques.
- Anna Zinsmeister began weaving in 1974 at Immaculate Heart College and earned her master’s in textiles from California State University, Northridge in 1985. She has taught and demonstrated weaving throughout Southern California and currently teaches weaving and spinning through the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department.
- Edi Dai is an artist, educator, and cultural producer living and working in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. They are the founder of Groundwork, a seed-to-textile program bringing students and artisans together through hands-on fiber practices.
