- Sessions will rotate between the Huntington Art Gallery of European Art and the Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art
- The program will include sitting and standing in a gallery space for the duration of the class. Gallery stools will be provided

About the Instructors
- Richard E. Scott is an artist, teacher, and author. He teaches drawing and painting at The Huntington in San Marino, California; the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California; and in art workshops throughout the United States and Europe.
For 25 years he has taught at numerous universities, including California State Polytechnic University, Pomona; UCLA; ArtCenter College of Design; California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo; and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has written for various art and design magazines, and in 2013 published a compendium on drawing, Sketching – from Square One to Trafalgar Square. - Robert Sherrill is a Southern California artist who portrays the majestic beauty of the natural world around him. Whether it’s watercolor or oil, he captures the effects of light, shape, and color in his exhilarating paintings.
