Culinary Workshop: Celebrating Ancestral Foodways

Spirit Plate will lead community members in a food demonstration that uplifts Indigenous food traditions and promotes sustainable cultural practices. Participants will learn about the significance, and uses of various plants while sharing stories and connections to ancestral foodways. Alongside this workshop, LA Commons and The Huntington will facilitate a potting and intention-setting activity inspired by the garden.

About the Organization
