Join Daniel Deephouse, assistant curator of the bonsai collection at The Huntington, for an immersive family-friendly workshop to learn the art of cultivating bonsai.

Family and Youth
Participants will work on bonsai trees in this special family workshop. Learn to shape, prune, and refine bonsai trees, connect with fellow bonsai enthusiasts, and leave with a miniature tree.
Key Details
- Registration includes free admission to The Huntington following the workshop.
- Suitable for all levels; no previous experience is necessary.
- This class is open to children ages 7 and older with one accompanying adult.
- All supplies and materials are included for one child and one adult pair.
- Please bring registration confirmation with you.
- Check in with Education staff at Admission window #10 at 9:30 a.m.

- Tickets are not sold at the door for this event.
- To join the waitlist for this event, please email publicprograms@huntington.org. A space is not guaranteed, but you will be contacted if a space becomes available.
- To receive a refund or request a reservation change, you must contact publicprograms@huntington.org at least 5 days prior to the event date. Cancellations made within 5 days of the event date will not be refunded, and reservation changes are not guaranteed. Tickets are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for vouchers or future credit.
- Members may receive a discount for up to two tickets when applicable.
