Alice Tsay

Alice Tsay is the Director of Institutional Planning and Strategic Initiatives at The Huntington. As a member of the Senior Staff team, she is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives and establishing new infrastructures for collaboration to elevate the institution’s effectiveness, reputation, and long-term impact. In her role, she also produces the President’s public programs series and serves as the primary staff liaison to the Board of Trustees. Working closely with executive and board leadership, she has advanced institutional projects such as The Huntington’s multi-year THIS LAND IS … initiative, the FY23-29 Strategic Plan, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan. Prior to The Huntington, she was the Director for Library Programming and Public Affairs at Pepperdine University, overseeing the Pepperdine Libraries’ public programming, community outreach, and communications efforts. She received her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and also holds degrees from Oxford University and Amherst College.
