Presenting The Huntington In Motion [video]

Posted on Fri., May 18, 2012 by Kate Lain

We are excited to launch In Motion, The Huntington's new video project. It even has its own Vimeo presence and YouTube channel. In Motion will feature a variety of video series that will bring new light to the unique physical spaces, collections, and processes that constitute The Huntington.

Our first new series within In Motion is called Videre, which is Latin for to see. In this new regular feature to the blog we will play with the idea of re-seeing. The short videos will be explorations of sights, sounds, and sensing at The Huntington.

"A Song of Pebble and Line" focuses on the visual and aural textures of the Helen and Peter Bing Children's Garden at The Huntington. Featured prominently are the captivating and unassuming pebble chimes.

UPDATE
Also in the Videre series:
"Calendula Collection"
"A Study in Simulacra"
"Lumen"
"Surface"
"Frame"
