Juan Gomez, the Housing and Programs Coordinator, oversees the planning, logistics, and set-up for all the programs (conferences, lectures, seminars, and summer institutes) hosted by the Research Department. Juan's duties include registering participants and attendees for conferences, making travel arrangements, arranging accommodation and associated hospitality, and managing audio-visual presentations. Juan also maintains the database of available accommodation (including rooms, apartments and houses in San Marino and neighboring cities) which he makes available for visiting research fellows; and on their arrival registers, and arranges the payment of stipends for, the 170 grantees who are awarded research fellowships at The Huntington each year.
