Order Reproductions
The Huntington Library provides reproductions of material to both registered readers and the public. Orders for reproductions are filled by The Huntington's Imaging Services department and should be placed through Aeon, the library's online request system. Due to the library closure, this service is limited. Researchers should note that currently digitized materials can be accessed and downloaded for free via the Huntington Digital Library. Virtual Reading Room Service
Schedule an appointment to view rare materials remotely with the Virtual Reading Room service.
Ask a Librarian
Although the library is currently closed, library staff are working remotely to assist researchers:
- Speak with a librarian for help getting started with your research.
- Contact the library to book a virtual reference session or to inquire about setting up a virtual instructional session for your class.
- Get answers quickly via live chat (available Mon.–Fri., 10 a.m.–12 p.m.)
- Find answers to frequently asked questions including forgotten passwords, how to request scans, and more.
Interlibrary Loan
Due to the closure as a result of COVID-19, The Huntington has halted interlibrary loan services for registered readers.
