Tom Carruth, the E. L. and Ruth B. Shannon Curator of the Rose Collections at The Huntington, shares his professional tips in a hands-on workshop focusing on the basics of rose pruning. Students get to learn about tools and techniques for tackling this thorny task, and get to practice their new-found skills on roses in the garden.
