Join Randy Shulman, vice president for advancement and external relations, for a conversation with Peter Westwick, a research professor of history at the University of Southern California and director of the Aerospace History Project at the Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West. Dr. Westwick is author of Stealth: The Secret Contest to Invent Invisible Aircraft published in January 2020. The book explores how the creative culture of postwar Southern California—unorthodox, ambitious, and future-oriented—played a key role in developing stealth technology, and is supported by research materials found in The Huntington's extensive aerospace collection.

The event will be held online via Zoom at 7 p.m. (PST). Zoom link will be sent to attendees on Nov. 4.
