Meet Me in the Garden
10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Saturday, June 11 | 10 a.m.–1 p.m. | Herb Garden
Are you looking to spend more time in nature connecting with disability communities, and making new friends? Join us for Meet Me in the Garden, where you and your family are invited to register for a free, inclusive program, created with feedback from families with disabilities. Explore the Herb Garden through smell, taste, sight, and touch. Activities will include a drop-in garden tour, and making art with seeds and plants. The Herb Garden is just 20 minutes from the main entrance on a paved, accessible pathway.
Prior to the program you will receive a pre-visit story about what to expect at The Huntington as well as a visual schedule of events for the morning. During the program you can expect written and verbal instructions for the different activity options. This is a drop-in program; your family can come and participate anytime between 10 a.m and 1 p.m.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 1 so we may email guests a visual schedule. Registration also includes general admission to The Huntington. After 1 p.m., you and your family will be free to explore the rest of the gardens, galleries, and library on your own.
