EVENT CANCELED

Nicolas Martinez, chairman of the California Rare Fruit Growers' Inland Empire chapter, discusses some unique options for the backyard fruit orchard. Martinez has spent the last two decades seeking out great tasting, lesser known varieties of tropical fruit trees that grow well in Southern California—cherimoya, dragon fruit, lychee, and gooseberries, to name a few—and spreading awareness to home gardeners who want to grow something out of the ordinary. Plant sale follows the talk.
