Dr. Chris Burns, Research Associate, Carnegie Observatories, covers the history of Edwin Hubble's Constant, a type of unit that measures the expansion of the universe, and how astronomers are trying to pin down its precise value. A brief musical performance begins at 7 p.m., and the lecture starts at 7:30 pm.
