Important Things to Know

  • As a collections-based educational and research non-profit we are open Weds-Mons; closed on Tuesdays. While projects may be able to occur in our public spaces during public hours, some restrictions may apply including but not limited to the ability to record sound, availability of parking, and availability of certain shoot locations.
  • Crews may arrive in the neighborhood as early as 7:30 a.m. and all vehicles must depart by 10:00 p.m.
  • We are not able to accommodate filming in gallery interiors.
  • The Huntington Film office pulls production permits directly with the City of San Marino. We do not work with third-party services like FilmLA.
  • Generally, we require at least 5 to 10 working days booking lead time (depending on project size) to provide sufficient time for contracting, scouting, and approvals.
