| Members’ Exhibition Preview: Junípero Serra and the Legacies of the California Missions
August 16 (Fri.) noon–4:30 p.m.Located in the Scott Galleries, the exhibition marks the 300th anniversary of the birth of one of the most influential, yet least understood, figures in California history. With more than 200 objects drawn from The Huntington’s collections and those of some 60 international lenders, the exhibition will be the first to present an in-depth portrait of the founder of the California mission system. Members' Spring Preview Plant Sale
Members shop early before the sale opens to the public. Choose from a wide variety of rare and unusual plants and proven favorites. Members’ invitations include a coupon for an additional 10% discount in the Bookstore & More valid on the day of the plant sale.
Members' Summer Evenings
On selected evenings, Members have the opportunity to stroll the gardens and enjoy music and casual dining after The Huntington has closed to the public.
Founder’s Day Lecture
The topic of this annual institutional talk varies and is decided by Huntington President Steve Koblik.

Sponsoring through Benefactor Members are invited to attend quarterly lectures and exhibitions. Lecture subject correlates with Huntington exhibitions, and times vary from afternoon to evening.
