American painter Roger Medearis is the focus of this exhibition including more than 30 paintings, prints, drawings, letters and photographs, tracing the artist’s career from his beginnings as a student of Thomas Hart Benton through the development of his own distinctive style.

During his years as minister to France, Thomas Jefferson cultivated a fondness for French art, architecture, and cuisine. In this class led by Maite Gomez-Rejón of ArtBites, participants will examine French influences on early American art and cook a meal based on Jefferson's favorite French recipes. Members: $80. This focused exhibition on 16th- and 17th-century portrait drawings features pastel sketches, miniature graphite drawings, and pen and ink drawings by artists such as Peter Lely, William Faithorne, and Peter Oliver.
