American painter Roger Medearis is the focus of this exhibition including more than 30 paintings, prints, drawings, letters and photographs, tracing the artist’s career from his beginnings as a student of Thomas Hart Benton through the development of his own distinctive style.

A healthy and attractive tree requires proper maintenance, including appropriate pruning. Jerry Turney, a certified arborist and senior plant pathologist from the Los Angeles County Department of Agriculture, gives an informative talk about when and how to prune. He will also share tips for training young trees, irrigating large specimen trees, and more. Plant sale follows the talk. Free. No reservations required. Friends’ Hall
