Hundreds of award-winning plants will be on view as the Cactus and Succulent Society of America presents its 47th annual show and sale. Rare specimens from around the world will be showcased, including plants native to Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Botswana, Madagascar, and the Middle East. Plants and related items will be available for sale both days, with an early-bird plant sale Friday, noon–4:30 p.m. Free. Botanical Center
Summer Hours
From Memorial Day (May 28) to Labor Day (Sept. 3) The Huntington observes summer hours and is open from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily (except Tuesdays).

Roger Medearis: His Regionalism
June 16–Sept. 17, 2012
American painter Roger Medearis is the focus of this exhibition including more than 30 paintings, prints, drawings, letters and photographs, tracing the artist’s career from his beginnings as a student of Thomas Hart Benton through the development of his own distinctive style.
