Charles Bukowski: Poet on the Edge

This exhibition on the life and works of Charles Bukowski, one of the most original voices in 20th-century American literature, will feature first editions of his works, including Ham on Rye, the autobiographical novel about his brutal childhood and young adulthood; Factotum, the fictional account of his succession of low-end jobs; and Barfly, made into a film in 1987, starring Faye Dunaway and Mickey Rourke.
