Ordering Information

ISI Schick Hybrids
1996-2004 Catalog

Availability. This catalog lists Schick Echinopsis hybrids that were introduced between 1996 and 2004. Most are still available, however, we are not able to propagate all varieties fast enough to keep up with demand. Therefore, for the most current availability list, please request by e-mail to isi@huntington.org. No minimum order. During the height of our shipping season, April to September, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for processing. Address orders to ISI, Huntington Botanical Gardens, 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA, 91108, USA. No minimum order.

Pricing.  All individual hybrids are priced at $7. You may specify the particular cultivars you would like or just the number of varieties if you would like us to choose for you. Feel free to mention the range of colors or other criteria you are seeking. Plants are shipped bare-root without soil. Individual plants are rooted and usually range from 1" to 2" diameter, sometimes larger, but not smaller unless you request a particular cultivar and are willing to receive a smaller but viable rooted offset or unrooted cutting.

Payment.  Payment must be either by a check or money-order drawn in US dollars and payable to The Huntington through a United States bank, or by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Checks will be processed upon receipt. Credit card payments will usually be processed in the week prior to shipping. Orders may be sent via e-mail to isi@huntington.org. For security purposes, charge-card number and expiration date may be called in to 626-405-3512 or orders may be faxed to 626-405-3501. California residents must add 9% sales tax.

Shipping and handling and other costs. All orders are sent by Priority Mail; for orders within CA, please include a minimum of $7.50 for postage and handling or $1 per plant, whichever is greater. For orders outside of CA please include a minimum of $13.50 or $1 per plant, whichever is greater.

We regret that due to agricultural restrictions we are not able to ship plants outside the U.S. or to Napa and Sonoma Counties in California. The following states (subject to change) require an additional $20 certification fee for pest inspection by a California agricultural inspector: AL, AK, ID, IN, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV. Orders to California counties north of Los Angeles must include an additional $5 to cover mandatory pesticide treatment.

Orders can be accepted year-round but shipping to some areas may depend on season.
