Tom Ford, fashion designer and filmmaker, discusses the making of his 2009 film A Single Man, based on Christopher Isherwood’s semi-autobiographical novel, published in 1964. Isherwood’s archive, including the manuscript of the novel, is part of The Huntington’s literary collections. Ford’s lecture will be followed the next evening by a screening of the film.
