Echinopsis 'Terpsichore'  

Flower sunburst-like, to 6 inches (15 cm) across. Petals rich purplish-pink with darker midrib, paler margin and light yellowish to pinkish basal stripe; inner petals lanceolate, ruffled, outers and sepals projecting beyond inners. Throat-circle white. Filaments light pink; outer stamens in a narrow circle. Stigma light green. Stem semicolumnar, to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, central spines to ½ inch (11 mm) long.
