Echinopsis 'Statesman'  

Flower to 6 inches (15 cm) across, similar to 'Elegant Lady' in its mainly white inner petals and bicolored white and pink outers but differing in the inner petals being broader obovate, obtuse rather than acute, with pinker midrib and spirally twisted sepals. Stem semicolumnar (in contrast to 'Elegant Lady'), to 4-¼ inches (11 cm) in diameter; central spines to 5/8 inch (17 mm) long. ISI 2000-28; HBG 85201, Schick 847-36.
