Echinopsis 'Seance'  

Flower beautifully symmetrical, to 4 inches (10 cm) across. Petals oblanceolate, satiny textured, inners dusky magenta with dark red midrib, outers light grey, suffused with red. Throat-circle and filaments dark, waxy magenta; anthers contrasting cream color; outer stamens in a wide ring; inner stamens surrounding throat. Stigma light green. Stem globular, to 2-¾ inches (7 cm) in diameter; central spines to 5/8 inch (15 mm) long. ISI 2000-26; HBG 85199, Schick 1394-12.
